When you delete a record in AIMS the entry in the table is marked for deletion, it does not at that point actually remove the data.
From time to time you may want to Pack the tables to remove these deleted records.
It is also a good idea to Reindex the table a few times per year.
This is done via the menu option of the File menu.
In the main form you select between Reindex or Pack.
Then click on the Application button to Reindex or Pack application files, the ones which hold your data, or system files. You can select both.
This will move the selected files to the right have side of the form.
Click OK to carry out the operation.
