Completing CITES Permit and Article 10 applications by hand takes time.
You have to get all the information for the parents, rings number for chcik and parents , Article 10 numbers etc together before you can even start. Only typing mistake and your application will be delayed
Since all the data is already in AIMS why not it do what it does best, handle your bird collection data for you.
There are two ways in AIMS to produce these applications:
- One by one for individual bird.
This allows you to review the information AIMS fills in for you before you print or produce the PDF file to email to your CITES authority. - Bulk Permit applications.
This allows you to select a group of bird using simple tick boxes and then generate the permit applications for all of those at once.
Both of these methods require you to have the correct settings in the Preferences to start with. So let’s look at that first.
