Add CITES and A10 permit number when you receive your permit

When you receive your CITES or A10 permits back from your CITES Authority you need to enter the permit numbers into AIMS.

On the Permits / Documents menu select Enter A10 Permit numbers for A10’s and Enter CITES permit numbers for CITES permits.

This will bring up the entry form which contains all A10 permit application you have made though AIMS which have no permit numbers yet.

Introduced in verion 12.1
If you are in the United Kingdom and tick the autofill Permit Prefix box on the form, the default is that it is ticked, then when you click into the Certificate number with the mouse AIMS will prefill the permit prefix used by the UK CITES autority for you.

For A10 permits the fomat for this, year, GB, A10, e.g. 26GBA10

This is the same for the CITES permit number entry form
For export permts the format is , year, GB, EXP, e.g. 26GBEXP
For import permts the format is , year, GB, IMP, e.g. 26GBIMP

If you are not in the United Kingdom and your CITES authority have a similar naming converniton please let us have the details and we can impliment this in AIMS for you.

Enter the permit number and date of issue. The date received will default to todays date, but you can change that if you wish.

You can use the normal toolbar list option to search the list.
