I have delete an egg by first deleting its movement records, then the weight records then the egg itself.
When I open the egg form the egg has come back, how can I delete it?
Some time ago we had an issue that caused an egg in some very rare cases to be deleted when a weight or movement record was deleted. This was not consistent and it took a long time, several years, for us to discover the cause and fix it.
In the meantime we added some code to the egg form so that when it was opened any deleted eggs were recovered. We have left that code in place just incase our fix was not the only section of code that was causing the original issue.
To permanently delete an egg, delete the weight and movement records, then the egg itself.
Then goto the file menu and select reindex and pack tables. This removed deleted records permanently.
